What’s A Good Electric Or Acoustic, Or Both Guitar That Has A Neck Made For Very Large Hands?

Posted: February 25th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Guitar Fret | Tags: , , , , , , , , , | 3 Comments »

I have very large hands, and right now it takes a lot of luck to be able to place my fingers so that they aren’t touching other strings when I play actual chords. I’m mostly going to be playing rock metal and punk music, but I still need a guitar with a wide fretboard, any good ones. I’m going to be playing a lot on my acoustic as well, so any ideas on that? And I don’t really want to go for a folk nylon acoustic, but that might end up what I have to do. Any suggestions?

How Can I Fix This Problem On My Electric Guitar?

Posted: February 25th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Guitar Fret | Tags: , , , | 1 Comment »

The first three frets on my electric guitar don’t change pitch. It’s a first act guitar(unfortunately). I can’t figure out if its my amp or the guitar. i try to tune the guitar but the sound quality sucks and the strings don’t tune right. every fret has the right sound except the first three. the first five open strings don’t sound all that good either.

What Do You Think Of This Electric Guitar Set-up?

Posted: February 19th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Guitar Fret | Tags: , , , , , | 3 Comments »

I’ve been playing the acoustic guitar (I have a Taylor) for 3 years but I’ve only been taking lessons for a little more than one of those 3 years. I like to play the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones and Boston. This year I was considering on buying an electric guitar and here is my ideal set-up and I want you guys to judge it and give me comments because that will help me. I am looking at a Blizzard Pearl Rosewood Fretboard American Stratocaster guitar and as far as the amp I am looking at an Orange Crush 30R. Of course I need a wire to hook it up with and a nice strap I already have picks so just give me your opinion on that. Thanks.

The First Fret On My Electric Guitar Is Making A Really Weird Clangy Sound When I Push Down On It.?

Posted: February 17th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Guitar Fret | Tags: , , , , , , , , , | 2 Comments »

Whenever i go to play my guitar and need to push down on the 3 thinnest strings on the first fret, it makes this clangy sound that sounds almost like it would if you had your finger halfway on a string and plucked it. it sounds really weird and clangy, my fingers pushed all the way down on it but it still makes that sound. i’m really confused. you think i should bring it in to the place where i bought it and get those strings replaced or the nekc adjusted, or something? i’m really not sure. it’s not even a year old. help please.
