I want a new guitar but i’m on a tight budget. I play everything from country to metal so what would be the best guitar for me t get? I also want the guitar to have a low fret action because the high fret action is what what i hate most about the guitar i have now.
Use the dots. On some guitars, there are dots on 3, 5, 7, 9 and 12. (Some guitars don’t have dots on the 3rd fret)
I would say learn what notes are at the dotted frets first on all the strings. Maybe just concentrate on the first four strings at first:
E string: G, A, B
A string: C, D, E
D string: F, G, A
G string: B-flat, C, D
The 4 lowest strings are the easiest and follow a pattern. Once you hit the B-string everything is offset (pattern-wise) by a half-step.
On each note, going down a fret will sharp or flat the note.

I’ve noticed that playing flat sounds good, with a bit of vibrato… but I want to know if there is a better tone I can get to make it sound even closer to a fretless.

i cant seem to get the chords right!…im pretty sure its because the fret board is to big for my hand…i might be getting a guitar for christmas …what brand/size/ETC. should i get… im not really informed enough on guitars when it comes to buying one so i was hoping you guys could help? please and thanks! =)
Im a beginner and ive already done some reading on guitars and music and general and i have an idea of how the fretboard is set up as well as what natural tones, flats, and sharps are, but id like to find a website that provides a foundation in chords, thanks
I have a steel string as well as a nylon string ( acoustic guitars ) . and I want to make one of them fret-less but i don’t know witch one – does any one know how to shave the frets off the fret board properly ? , any advice ?
