Ways To Adjust An Electric Guitar?

Posted: February 9th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Guitar Fret | Tags: , , , | 3 Comments »

I just bought a second hand electric guitar. it was tuned alot higher in the shop so i didn’t notice this at first but the strings are very close to the fretboard and the lower strings rattle against the frets when you puck them. It there anyway to adjust this at the bottom or somewhere?(it’s a silvertone guitar if that helps)
thankyou

yes you can adjust the trust rod inside the neck of the guitar with an allen key or to be safe get the shop to do it for you that way nothing can go wrong and if it does they owe you a new one
