I just bought a new 21 fret electric guitar. I want to learn the basics (before getting expensive lessons) to see if it is for me. What is the best dvd for me to buy, what can you recommend? For ultimate beginner novice basics!

    My opinion is that while DVD’s are an excellent source, there are many talented people who make these sort of tutorials onto YouTube who truly just want to teach others, which would be very convenient to find and also free.     When I started I just went to Youtube and searched up beginner guitar scales. I started 1 year ago and I have progressed fast. Remember, scales are everything!
