I just bought a second hand electric guitar. it was tuned alot higher in the shop so i didn’t notice this at first but the strings are very close to the fretboard and the lower strings rattle against the frets when you puck them. It there anyway to adjust this at the bottom or somewhere?(it’s a silvertone guitar if that helps)
thankyou

I just bought a new 21 fret electric guitar. I want to learn the basics (before getting expensive lessons) to see if it is for me. What is the best dvd for me to buy, what can you recommend? For ultimate beginner novice basics!
Cheers my dears!

I’ve tuned the guitar using a meter and the meter indicates everything is tuned. Is something wrong? I am a guitar newbie.

What could I do to replace it? Could I just play it without the capo? Should I tune it differently or something?

im just begining to play guitar and iv noticed that my bridge is pretty up high and it makes it hard for me to play. since the strings are so high off the fretboard, my fingers just slip off and crap. if i do this myself, how far down do i go? for instance, until i feel comfortable with it?
- if it helps i have an epiphone sg
